LIONS CLUB ST. ADOLPHE-D'HOWARD ANNOUNCES THE 14TH EDITION OF THE TOUR DU LAC ST-JOSEPH TO THE BENEFIT OF THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY
ST. ADOLPHE-D'HOWARD, MARCH 16, 2016 - ON MAY 15 WILL TAKE PLACE THE 14TH EDITION OF THE TOUR DU LAC ST-JOSEPH, HEADED BY THE LIONS CLUB ST. ADOLPHE-D'HOWARD TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY.
Who has not been touched in some way by cancer. Good weather, bad weather, people are invited to walk, cycle, ride, etc., around Lake St. Joseph to show their support for the cause. Registration will be from 9 am at the Adolphe-Jodoin park and a contribution of $ 8 per participant is requested. The official start is scheduled for 10 am. New this year, participants will have the opportunity to make several turns according to their ability. The disabled can participate in the event taking place in the float wich will lead the walk with music! Hot dogs ($ 2) and Italian sausage ($ 4) will be served at noon. A singer will be present from 11h to 14h to host the event!
To ensure the safety of participants, chemin Tour-Lake and the Village Road will be one way from 9:30 to 14h.
People can donate now to the pharmacy and Lucie Savard and to the the organizing committee of the LIONS's club.
Previous editions of the event allowed to give more than $ 78,000 to the Canadian Cancer Society.
